Warranty
The following CiscoMatteo Limited warranty applies to original CiscoMatteo watches purchased in the original labelled packaging and sold or presented for warranty service.
1. What the CiscoMatteo warranty covers and during what period
Under the CiscoMatteo warranty, CiscoMatteo quarantees its watch against defect in manufacturing and materials for a period of twenty-four months from the date of original retail purchase. The warranty is applicable to watches purchased from the official CiscoMatteo webpage or from an authorised CiscoMatteo Reseller. CiscoMatteo will provide for repair or replacement of your watch or part free of charge according to the warranty terms. Please note that the rights conferred by the CiscoMatteo Warranty are in addition to the rights and remedies provided by consumer laws and regulations in your applicable jurisdiction. As such, the warranty and its benefits are in addition to, and not instead of, rights provided by the applicable consumer law.
2. Limitations to the CiscoMatteo warranty (What it does not cover)
The CiscoMatteo warranty does not cover:
(a) Non-CiscoMatteo watches
(b) batteries, straps, link bracelets or glass
(c) Routine maintenance and cleaning
(d) damage of any kind if there is evidence that the damage was caused by an accident, improper use or mishandling of any part of the watch, handling that inconsistent with the instructions or guidelines included in your CiscoMatteo watch, lack of core or improper maintenance, tampering, abuse, wear and tear, or any other factor than a defect in the CiscoMatteo watch’s manufacturing.
(e) Water penetration caused by use in conflict with the CiscoMatteo Watch’s ATM (atmospheres) mark.
(f) Damage resulting from repair, service, or alteration by anyone other than an authorized CiscoMatteo Retailer or service provider.
3. What we will do in the event of a warranty claim under the CiscoMatteo Warranty
If during the warranty period you submit a claim under the CiscoMatteo warranty, CiscoMatteo will, at its discretion:
(a) repair the watch using new and/or previously used parts that are equivalent to a new in performance and reliability, or
(b) replace the watch with the same model (or with your consent a product that has similar functionality) formed from new and/or previously used parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability. For warranty claim submitted in a country other than the country of purchase of the watch, CiscoMatteo may repair or replace the watch and /or parts with comparable CiscoMatteo watches and/or parts that comply with the local standards. You will not be charged for the repair or replacement under this CiscoMatteo warranty if your warranty claim within the scope of this CiscoMatteo warranty. Furthermore, CiscoMatteo will not be responsible for the return shipping and handling for the CiscoMatteo warranty. If the CiscoMatteo warranty is not applicable, void or rejected, CiscoMatteo will notify you accordingly and you decide whether to proceed with the repair or replacement, or if you wish to have your watch returned. If you decide to proceed, you will be charged for part or all of any repair or replacement, including costs of return shipping and handling.
4. Limitation of liability
Except as provided in the CiscoMatteo warranty and to the maximum extent permitted by the law, CiscoMatteo is not responsible for any direct, special, incidental or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty or condition, or under any other legal theory, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of revenue, loss of actual or anticipated profits (including loss of profits on contracts); loss of business; loss of opportunity; loss of goodwill. Subject to the applicable laws and regulations, the maximum liability of CiscoMatteo for breaching any written or implied warranty with respect to the CiscoMatteo watch shall not exceed the retail purchase value of the CiscoMatteo watch.
